lots of things has happened since since since…

So many praises and good times were made…

but i don’t think i can write it all out..so i’m gonna keep ‘em in my heart..and hopefully…start writing about the present and the future..

today is MONDAY! and its almost school time! i’m so excited…i’m not sure why.. BUT I”M EXCITED about everything! few more days. few more days.

God I LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU~

I was actually really nervous about hiking it up, because it was supposed to be a 5.5 hours hike. The last time I went hiking, I thought I was gonna die and it was a 2 hour hike. I prayed about his situation. I prayed for a good weather. I prayed for a good time. I prayed for supernatural physical strength, because I already knew I was gonna die with my strength alone. Then I hear the Lord saying, “I’ll show you how much you need me.” You’ll see how much you need me. Of course, I need you LORD, without you I can’t go up the mountain.! but I don’t think I fully got what he was tryin to say.

D-Day. I was really nervous about this for some reason. It felt like I was in line waiting to ride a crucial scary roller coaster. I woke up twice thru the night thinking about this hike. I’m being so honest. I felt like I wasn’t ready for this hike.

When we got there and started out this ‘old rag hiking expereince’ I started to get tired for the first 2 miles.. I wanted to quit. It didn’t even help after going those 2 miles and not even being up half way! ahhhhh! But it was okay. I guess. I had brothers encouraging me and guiding me.. Then the last half hour was more like HUGE rock climbing, spiderman moves, sucking in the tummy to fit thru… that was actually fun. i think i enjoy things like that.

When we finally got to the top, it was GORGEOUS!!! SO PRETTY. THE BREEZE WAS AMAZING..THE SHADE WAS GREAT! GOD WAS GREAT! SO BEAUTIFUL! WOW, God…totally knocked off my socks!

As we headed down, we encountered a bear. haha.. can you believe it? I’m still like ?_? wow. I didn’t know what to do but pray. THANK YOU JESUS, that bear didn’t do anything but looked at is.. then we slowly passed by… wow. as i prayed i felt somewhat of authority over the bear. because as a child of GOd, we do have authority given to us by our Lovely Father.

Overall, as i reflected…couldn’t believe we were done with the hike… Then I felt God telling me, “see how much you needed me today?” haha…Yes, indeed. Not only for strength to go up the mountain but how I needed him to give us a clear weather. Why? the weatherman said its gonna rain and my other friend said “it’s gonna be too hot and its not good [we might faint, dehydrate..etc]…but I needed God to give me a good weather…and he DID! Actually, he gave us such an awesome weather that I haven’t even thought about… I just wanted no rain and less heat. but he gave us cool breeze, shade, and when we were on top the clouds and sun came out. it felt good.

Then when the bear came out..it was a different story.. cuz with strength..i could’ve entually got up there maybe after 6 hours!? or the weather, i might’ve sucked it up and hike thru the rain or scorching heat. [BUT LETS PRAISE GOD AGAIN, THAT WE DIDN'T GO THRU THAT]…but with the bear.. what are the chances of being alive? so as we were going down, when i thought this hike was over…i realized HOw MUCH I NEEDED GOD AT THAT POINT . its a life and death situation. He saved us again! as i prayed…that bear just stood there and just stared.. and we were able to pass by..and continue our walk down.

God surely does listen to my prayers.. He answered all my prayer request…I am protected. I am Loved. I am His. I want Him. I NEEd Him.

MOVIN OUT IN FEW DAYS…but I”m takin my time~

Then I found my old denim jacket that I haven’t worn for like years [actually it was in the pile of clothes that I was gonna donate...]. Yes, It’s hard for me to throw away my clothes to I redeemed 2 of ‘em and saved this denim jacket. Since its HOTT and its the summer, I decided to cut off the sleeves..and make it into a vest.. hehe.

Okay…let me tell you whats goin on with me…

I think I’m gonna turn just a little in the direction of my life..

I’ve been goin to VCU for 6 years… I’m getting degree in psychology and Liberal studies for elementary education. Yes, I did a duel degree. My original plan from when i decided to do education was to go to grad’s school and get my masters. However, I don’t think that’s the case anymore.

Coming into college, I had no idea what I wanted to do in life. Before I came into college there were only two things that I liked, Kids and dancing. I decided to do education when I saw a connection to get to kids thru education. Not to sound creepy but I just have a heart for kids..to play with them, to let them know that someone loves them [Jesus]. Directly or indirectly, I’m gonna still let them know! As I started to pursue education, ppl around me started to encourage me saying stuff like “Oh, I can see you as a teacher!” “You’ll be a great teacher!” “I wanna send my kids to you!”..get the idea?!?! so I think my pride got stuck to that..thinking I think i can actually be good at this teaching thing..and be a teacher. But let’s face it.. who knows me better than GOD? I don’t even know myself that much.. The truth is I DON’T WANNA BE A TEACHER. I always wanted to be a professional babysitter. totally different from being a teacher! So this year, I started to wrestle with myself why am I tryin and wasting money to get a Master’s in education when later…I don’t wanna be a teacher. Don’t get me wrong, but if I was given a position to teach I would do it, but with no confidence. I like all kids, but i think my target in toddlers-7 year olds.. I don’t mind being their teacher, but no one older.. no thank you. and sorry to all those who had their hopes in me. [no one did, right?]..

I then started to think about YMCA…
When I started to work there, I recall myself telling my co-workers that I was majoring in education but I want to work in an orphanage. I think that was my goal—to work/play with orphans. I’m still prayin about this..if its God’s will or if  i’m being lazy and giving up on being a teacher. But every since high school I kept thinking about going back to the orphange in Korea.
SO, I’m facing myself right now.. I don’t know how or when I’ll get there.. but I wanna go for it.

btw…it was also because of my OCD i wanted to get that Master’s degree.. I just felt that I’m not finished with school. ya know?? I don’t like starting something and not finishing it.. it irks me! So as long as I get that degree i would feel like I’m done with school and don’t need to go back.. I’m already thinking where i should go to grad school…for what too? I just want everything over and done with… but if anything…i might have to go to grad school in korea..or go seminary school.

As of now…my mom wants me to work.. so just letting you know..there’s a high possibility that i would be goin to korea next summer.. and start payin off my loans and workin with orphans..the kids I LOVE!

thinking about those kids [even tho i don't know them yet] makes me break my OCDness…and definitely doesn’t make me think about “money”.. i don’t care if i even get paid.. i’ll volunteer!

God, I now need the money to buy a plane ticket! Thanks Father! You’re the Best!!!

altho my father has been absent from my present for more than 4 years… I’m very thankful that my heavenly Father watches over me wherever I am. My real father may not financially support me, but its okay, my Heavenly Father does. I’m blessed to have a father who is still alive. I pray that he gets to know his Heavenly Father too. That’s all i want for him. He doesn’t need to support me in anyway… just know that His Father Loves Him too.

Thank you God, for watching over my father all the way on guam. I know I can’t support him either mentally, emotionally, or physically, but HE can!

it has officially started….i mean it started yesterday but…didn’t feel it as much as today.

I went to sleep last night that I didn’t need an alarm clock to wake me up for todays world cup game [korea vs. greece]…why not? cuz i have the ahjuhmas in town! OF COURSE, they would wake me up on time. How can I not wake up to their LOUD voices! Thanks ahjuhma i needed that alarm clock!

I’m just writing this to remind myself when i get OLD…where I was watching Korean’s first world cup game 2010.

I was a kim’s house with my aunt, uncle, partrick’s mom and dad, and mina’s mom and dad. They are quite a crowd!
I found them really entertaining…

My aunt was quite suprised how man koreans wearing RED shirts went to the game in south africa. I mean, the ticket to go to S. Africa and buying a ticket to watch the game is kinda expensive…don’t you think? well it is to me…since i’m unemployed..with 13.00 left. Later to find out that.. It wasn’t korean fans but empty seats in the stadium that just happened to be RED seats! EITHER WAY, THOSE SEATS WERE UNINTENTIONALLY CHEERING FOR US! yay, Korea!
